THE OLD LIVINGSTON HOUSE

November 5, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The house we are using as the Old Livingston House was built in 1894. The house has only known two families. The Stanaland’s built the house, and the Lloyd’s bought the house in the late 1940’s. The Stanaland’s lived and worked in the turpentine/orange grove business. Nancy Stanaland lived in the house and raised her family there and died there also. Two of Nancy’s daughters died at age 4, 3 years apart on October 10th. The family graveyard is on the back side of the property. Nancy is still seen present day in the house.
The Lloyd’s are in the 4th generation living in the house. Bruce Lloyd was the postmaster in Ocklawaha for so long everyone in the area knows the house as the old postmaster’s house. The Babcock’s (Lloyd’s granddaughter) live in the house present day. Rob, Deb, Thomas and Alex are wonderful people who have welcomed us into their home. We are looking forward to our adventure shooting in the house. Who knows maybe Nancy will make a cameo appearance.

Marilyn Robertson as “Kacie”

October 27, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Marilyn Robertson enjoyed all aspects of the theater from acting to set construction and costuming as a Theta Alpha Phi member at BGSU. A highlight was performing in “The Crucible” with Jon Cypher, then an off Broadway performer who rose to fame in TV in the years since. She also loves to sing and has continued to perform as a soloist and in choirs, both church and community. Since retiring to Florida Marilyn is happy to be involved with Theater once again, taking classes and performing with the Theater Guild of Stonecrest in plays, singing and dancing.

Movie Extra’s

We had great actors audition for us. Unfortunately we didn’t have named roles for them all. We have a list of extra’s, but thought we would highlight a few of them.
